Nintendo Wii Instruction Manual For The Technophobes
May 31, 2008 Category: Wii Help No Comments »
For all of us who do like computers and gaming consoles to make our lives fun and easy, the Nintedo Wii is the gadget to buy. Even the instructions are easy to read and apply. The instructions are designed to take you through everything step by step, there is very little or no space to get it wrong.
What is it about the Nintendo Wii?
The answer is really easy. It is because you don’t have to have a degree in anything computer or technical, to be able to play and use the gaming console. It is dead easy and kids can do it too.
To configure the console one can pretty much go about it intuitively, the wii indeed is by far the easiest gaming console to install. Yes you do have to read your Nintendo Wii instructions, this is the way it is with anything new you purchase. However, I can assure you that plugging in and getting a VCR or DVR to run is more difficult than installing the wii. After you’ve connected the Wii, just double check in the instructions to find out how to set up the remote. I don’t think you’ll need any more instructions, since the rest of the set up is straight forward.
No worries - Just Play
Beginner or not, I suggest the first game you should upload is bowling, which is part of the bundle when you first buy you wii. Get into the game straight away, you very soon will realize how simple and straight forward the Nintendo Wii system is to play with. No clicking of numerous buttons or worse using a number of joysticks to have it all happen all you have to do is take the wiimote hold down the trigger button and start swinging as if you were bowling. The only thing you have to remember is to let go of the button to release the ball - that’s all. All you now have to be aware of is that you don’t forget the world around you because as you will experience for yourself, you could be bowling for hours in the comfort of your own home surrounded by your best friends. You don’t need any special equipment such as shoes etc, and you don’t even have to book your time slot at your local bowling club.
Fun, Fun, Fun, Fun and more Fun
This is really what the Wii is all about. The master stroke really is that Nintendo developed a very attractive gaming console that is easy to install and easy but fun to play with.

A Short And Sweet Summary On How You Can Enhance Your Wii Gaming Experience
May 31, 2008 Category: Wii Help No Comments »
We live in the age of overwhelming choices, so why wouldn’t there be a number of different Nintendo wii memory cards offered to the customer in the market place? It shouldn’t surprise you that the more capacity a memory card offers, the more fun the game is.
A “stronger” or should I call it “bigger” memory card might just not be an accurate description anymore since a 2 gigabyte secure digital card is not bigger that a postage stamp. It still boggles my mind as to how these things can be produced as well as developed and above all they work.
Is there a smaller portable flash memory?
As far as market research can determine it, it seems that the Nintendo Wii Memory card, at least for now, has no competitor when it comes to being smallest portable flash memory available to date. We’ll see when and how fast the competition is going to catch up with this.
This memory card on other gadgets such as your digital camera or your PDA etc is an incredibly sophisticated device, it provides high speed and reliability. And a really nice addition to the above is the price, not to say cheap, but very reasonable and will keep you satisfied with its performance for a long time.
If you’re a Nintendo game cube user, the Nintendo Wii memory card can be used to save your personal game information. The memory card has the capability to write data at a speed of 10MB/second. Just in case your mind and imagination needs some more stretching, the data exchange speed between the Wii console and the Wii memory card is capable to transfer at a rate of 6.7MB/second.
I love technology.
Why Hook Up A Wii To The Internet
May 31, 2008 Category: Wii Help No Comments »
If you want to have even more fun while playing with your Nintendo Wii Gaming Console I strongly suggest you hook up to the internet sooner than later.
You don’t need more than a wireless router. Not only can you download game updates via the internet, but you can play against the whole wide world on line and make more friends while having fun. There is another advantage by playing the whole world, you get better and better since the competition out there makes you strive for improvement. This would be an incentive if you’re a real achiever and are striving for bigger and better results.
Some explanation on Nintendo Wii Internet Connections
The inside structure of your Nintendo Wii is based on technology that is incredibly similar to your laptop computer with a wireless router. The wireless G capable internet card connects the Wii to your home router that in turn gives access to the internet. Alternatively your Wii can be connected to the internet via an RJ 45 LAN cable if you’re house is not equipped with wireless internet connection. Which ever way you have chosen to connect to the internet doesn’t really matter. What matters though is the fact that you can access the internet via your Wii, download new games or play against your friends be it next door or across the planet.
Why would I want to connect on to the Internet?
Let me ask another question, since there is no limitation with what you can do with an internet connection on you Wii, why wouldn’t you want to connect to the web? The Wii comes with an “on board” browser to surf the web, log onto the Wii game rooms to hook up with players and start playing with them or against them. Being able to go online also gives you the opportunity to download some games for free, mostly the smaller and older ones, but hey. Many people still like Mario Bros, Donkey Kong and the original “legend of Zelda”. So if you like them I don’t think you would want to miss out on the deal. Lets be clear here, on of the most important reasons why you’d want to be connected to the internet via your Wii truly is because you can update your games.
These days it is common practice that games do get updated after release. So for the seasoned gamer, there’s nothing more frustrating than having to play with an old version. I would even push as far as suggesting you check daily to make sure that you’ve got the latest version of the game downloaded.

Backup Wii Games, How To Do It?
May 31, 2008 Category: Wii Help No Comments »
Would you like to find out how to backup wii games in a jiffy?
The Wii is in demand. And so are the games . So when you see a awesome game you want to make a backup of it just to protect it. And it’s quite legal to do that. To backup wii games you need two things.
First of all: you gotta get your hands on a mod chip (I suggest the WiiKey) if you would like to play the game on your Nintendo wii. I found something called GameCopy Pro which teaches you how you can enjoy the game on your computer without ever needing a modchip which is pretty slick. But it’s obvious, you wanna play the game on your Wii. The PC can’t even come close to the sweet controller that the wii has to offer.
Second thing: This is the tool you’ll use to make backups of the wii games. The tool that I think is really cool is GameCopy Pro which makes it a breeze to backup wii games. All you need to do literally is pop the nintendo wii disc into your DVD or CD drive and hit “burn”. Let the software do its thing. Your game will be backed up in the blink of an eye!
You might have heard of other ways online to backup Wii games but they are way too complicated and unless you consider yourself an expert with iso-burning and image-mounting techniques you’ll probably find GameCopy Pro much easier. Many have tried those methods but failed. $30 for this software is totally justified considering the value it delivers.
That should about sum it up for how to backup games.
