KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child may have been absolute trash, but Rolling Stone thinks it “rocks” because it “helped to reinvent the band for a new generation of tech-savvy comic book fans as virtually animated saviors of humanity.” In the music publication’s new article, “The 50 Best Rock & Roll Video Games of All Time,” Rock Band Rolling Stone Unveils Questionable List of Most Rock & Roll Games, Guitar Hero (Wii) Rolling Stone Unveils Questionable List of Most Rock & Roll Games, and Rez are expectedly mentioned, but so are duds like Make My Video and and Spice World. Meanwhile, the plastic guitar-pioneering Gitaroo-Man and this year’s independently-produced, and critically-lauded Audiosurf get the shaft.

Did they miss any other titles? Feel free to make some substitutions below. For the record, rhythmically tapping Chris Redfield’s feet on the wood flooring in the original Resident Evil 1 probably doesn’t qualify, as it seems by Rolling Stone’s criteria each game must either be focused on music creation or involve the music industry to some degree. Although, the inclusion of Simon does allow for unspecified leniency.

There are many games for the Wii, including a lot of the older titles from the early Nintendo’s. It is even possible to play the GameCube games on the Wii. Some of Sega’s and NEC turbo grafix 16 games from the early 90’s are also available for the Wii via your wireless Wi-Fi connection.

If you were to go out and buy all these games you would pay something like $45 or more for each individual game not to mention the good games may already be sold out when you get there. So you drive to the next store… same thing, and what about all the gas you burned to do that? With the price of gas the way it is right now it just makes more sense to get your games online.

Instead of going out looking for Wii games, why not download or purchase all your Wii games from the comfort of your own home? May have to wait a couple days to get it but it sure beats the hell out of driving all over the place and burning that $4 a gallon gas.

Through the days of GameCube, GameBoy, Entertainment System and the DS line, there was really little between the likes of Nintendo, Microsoft (Xbox) and Sony (PS) in video gaming. That was until the Wii came along, and then BANG! By now, few true -blue video gamers would dispute that Nintendo has clearly surged ahead.

Needless to say, the video game industry is highly lucrative and everybody wants a bite of the pie. To occupy pole position, the Nintendo Wii had to be top-notch as a lifestyle item. It is multimedia, personal computer, internet browser, communication device and most of all, the mother of all video game consoles, all-in-one.

Everything about Wii revolves around the remote controller and Nintendo Wii Games are no exception. Its motion sensing technology makes the gaming experience feels like the real thing be it tennis, bowling, baseball, boxing and so forth. So much for the ‘couch potato’ image of video gaming as the intrinsic specialty of Nintendo Wii Games is the players’ movement.

Nintendo Wii Games are inherently played without clutter or restraint through its wireless remote. It is the tennis racquet, steering wheel, gun or bowling ball depending on what game is on. Coupled with the Nunchuck secondary controller, it truly brings Nintendo Wii Games into a gaming dimension previously unknown. There is even an adaptor that fits over the remote for those who are more accustomed to the old-version controller.

Game consoles are generally tended to kids but Nintendo Wii Games can be family affairs, they have the range. There’s even a menu channel for setting up personal profiles called Mii so involvement and participation can be even and well-matched regardless of age, gender and other conditions. A wide variety of games are available spanning sports, action, fighting, puzzles, casino and others.

Classic and retro games are also widely available. For one thing, the Nintendo Wii is backward compatible to the games of GameCube and even Entertainment System series. 4 GameCube controller ports are actually provided although some of the old games can be played with the Wii remote. The media bay will also accept the old GameCube discs along with the newer Wii version.

The primary source of Nintendo Wii Games is the Wii games store. They are also available through the Wii Virtual Console. However, the pricing structure through these two avenues is rigid and can be steep in the long run especially for serial Wii gamers. That’s why an alternative source of Nintendo Wii Games with a commercial twist through online download is getting vastly popular. At a fraction of the cost of the conventional disc, why wouldn’t it be?

Are you looking for ways to get Nintendo Wii downloads online? The Nintendo Wii is a really popular gaming console, and some stores have been running out of this console frequently. The Nintendo Wii is a great games console. It is radically different from other game consoles available on the market. The games included with the Wii are excellent and introduce you to the Wii controller in a very appropriate manner. They all have the usual Nintendo feel and stamp of family fun. The Wii remote and the Nunchuck controller feel a little different at first, but they are very intuitive to use because using body movements to play games is far easier than just pressing keys.

Wii setup is pretty easy and enables you to start playing games fairly quickly. Playing games on the Wii is smooth and very absorbing. Even though Wii graphics do not have the best resolution, they are more than adequate for games. What is truly innovative is the design of the games controller, and the way Nintendo have integrated it into the manner in which you have to play the games. If you like to play games with friends and family, you will have to get a second controller to get into the spirit of things; you will not regret it.

The Wii wireless setup is also very easy. After connecting the Wii, you can immediately check sports, weather, and news over Nintendo’s free online service. The Wii uses a standard SD card for memory. You can get a Wii high capacity memory card for a fairly reasonable price.

The battery life in the Wii leaves something to be desired. The Wii drains AA batteries fairly quickly. The Wii remote sometimes looses it’s connection with the console when the batteries are low on power. The Wii wrist strap may not be very durable, but Nintendo are very prompt in dealing with any warranty claims you may have.

The quality of the materials and workmanship on the Wii is excellent. The Wii remote is sturdy enough to withstand being dropped by kids. The Nintendo Wii usually sells out very quickly, so get it as soon as it is available at your local store.
